The sySTEMic program is a dynamic and innovative program that exposes youth to engaging and educationally stimulating hands on Science, Technology, Engineering and Math based activities that incorporate the element of fun. It is an answer to a national STEM crisis that specifically targets underrepresented communities, who are often left out of the dialogue about STEM topics and are not regularly included in the STEM workforce.
The sySTEMic program takes place on-site at schools and various learning centers. Programs can be customized to fit the site’s needs, lasting anywhere from one session to an entire academic year. The experiments are typically one hour, hands on, inquiry based activities. The program targets participants from 5 years old to pre-college kids.
